Setting Up the BlockBase Screen Saver

After the installation, you will need to set up the screen saver.

Click Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Display > Screen Saver tab.

In the Screen Saver box, click the screen saver you want to use. In this case, you'll select Bb-saver.

The screen saver starts if your computer is idle for the number of minutes specified in Wait.

To clear the screen saver after it has started, move your mouse or press any key.

To customize the screen saver

If your BlockBase program is installed in the default directory folder C:\BB2\ then you will not be required to change any settings. If you've installed BlockBase somewhere other than the default, you'll see the marquee message, "GO CONFIGURE" instead of quilt block images. To configure, click the Settings button.

The configure dialog box will appear. Click on the Browse button and locate the drive and folder where you installed your BlockBase program. Be sure to select the LIB folder.

You can also choose to display the patches of the blocks with or without outlines.
