Jean J. The geese are flying south for the warmer weather.
|
Jo Moury Original design, this was fun to play with but I'm someone who can not paper piece, so I think the only way this would ever get made with cloth would be if I were to Applique the curvey geese... and that would not be "Too Much Fun" As always, thanks for all the work you'all put in this. Sometimes the Challenge is the only time during the moth I make the time to do a little design work. (and that is sad!) Haymarket, VA |
Judith Best How appropriate to have the flying geese block as a challenge at this time of year when the geese are preparing to return south for the winter. I used a curve flying geese block I had drawn for another project and then traced a picture of a goose for the applique

Ute-Barbara Skjønberg I love the Flying Geese - the possibilities are unlimited. It was fun playing with this challenge - Ute-Barbara Skjønberg |

Angie Padilla The center circle is made up of flying geese moving in opposite directions to give it movement. With the different shades of yellow, the idea is to give the impression of a sun. I drew another flying geese block for the borders and used the Birds in the Air block from the Classic Library for the corners. Best viewed with Outline Patches and Outline Blocks turned off. |
