Eva R. Winter is coming and I just want to remember myself the sun rising nevertheless ;-)) Best place is a breakfast plate to remember early in the morning ;-)
|
Kathy Johnson The applique block is from the Classic Applique Folk Art CD. I designed the flying geese and the setting.
|
Kim Barber This quilt was
made using the" Wild Goose Chase" and "Goose in the Pond" blocks. |
Kim Barber Be sure to look
at this quilt with the block and patch outlines off. |

Marje Rhine I challenged myself
to use nothing but flying geese blocks in this quilt. I'm not sure I
would piece it that way. |
Sheila Williams This quilt came to me on my walk of the hills of Temcula and watching the brids fly south. I used my Fossil Fern Fabric Palette for the autumn colors. I created this palette from the Benartex web site. Temecula, CA |
Lynne Chambliss This is a quilt that I have
been thinking about for quite a while. In my life time I have owned by many cats.
So many, in
fact, that this would not represent even the last 20 years! At present,
I care for 8. In this design, feel free to substitute the animal of
your choice. I can see it working for dogs, birds, fish or a mixture.
Also the Autumn colors could be replaced by brights or soft country
shades. I used blocks, motifs and embroideries that represent applique
designs. |

Tutu Haynes-Smart Cape Town, |
Andrea Poulimenos We have a resident duck population at my apartment and there is a golden retriever that always jumps in the pond outside my window. All the ducks scatter and the dog comes back sopping wet. I thought the haphazard way that the geese were rotated in this quilt reminded me of the startled ducks. |
Andrea Poulimenos I was just experimenting with CTRL + click and different layouts from the Layout Library in the second group Basics by Style. I liked the way this one looked and just rotated blocks and added some color. |
