Louise Grant These geese are all lost and of course they're all male
as they won't ask directions to find their way north. |

Nancy Anderson I was experimenting with drawing curved flying geese
from Patti's book (EQ5 Drawing) for the outer blocks and the border.
The circling swallow block I got from Block Base. |
Nieske Munneke Inspired by Patti Andersons book 'EQ5 drawing' , I have drawn my own curved flying geese block and used it for this challenge. Netherlands |
Pris Roehm This is my first project made in EQ. I used "Drawing a Circle of Geese Block" in EQ5 Drawing p.154. The yellow is the sunrise with the geese flying against the blue sky. I traced a bitmap picture (EQ5 Cookbook p. 94) of a goose from (ClickArt Broderbund) and placed it on Layer 2 of each center. Santa Clarita,
CA |
Regina Johnson I drew `dutchman`s puzzle` in
the center of my `wild goose chase` variation. The coloring of the patches creates
the stars & ripples. |

Rory Kirby Layer 2 was used to stretch two blocks over the centre after setting the original block design in layer 1. An interesting piecing challenge to determine the minimum number of seams required. Victoria, BC |
Rory Kirby By using layers 1 and 2 and stretching, rotating and
clipping, just one block was developed into this geometric offering.

Verona P. As the geese are
flying south right now, and I hear them early every morning gathering
for the daily flight, I decided I'd make this Welcome to the South quilt. |
W. Masson This setting works
well for almost any block and provides lots of free space for fancy
quilting. |

Barb R. I used the Flying Geese
VII block in a 5x5 layout with "presents" in the middle and holiday
appliques distributed around. |
Barb R. I used the Flying Geese VIII block (diagonal double
row flying geese) in the quilt and in the border with the recolored
Old Maid's Ramble block in the cornerstone. |
