Merry Endres Just ask my kids;
everyday is Halloween at our house, and now that it actually is getting
close to Halloween, what could be more appropriate than a lively wallhanging
featuring flying bats? |

Trish Cooper Sunflowers are one
of my favorite flowers, so I decided to incorporate them in to this
month's challenge. Since it's now almost fall, I decided to incorporate
the fall colors in to this quilt, as well. |
Trish Cooper The center design
looks like it's twisting around and around and, as a result, the corner
blocks have been "thrown out" by the center square. Once again,
I've stayed with the Sunflower theme. Could you have guessed that this
is my favorite flower? |
Vigdis Stensrud In the black night,
the Geese gather to make a star.

Vigdis Stensrud The fall is dark without the snow. But it is warm at
the fire. |

I am quite new to
this and have never entered into a challenge before so if I get something
wrong, please bear with me! I chose the marbled grey background to the
geese to represent a stormy sky as they migrated. I have always liked
the Flying Geese pattern and have designed a cushion in the past using
a 3D method which looks quite effective though I say so myself <G> I had great
fun designing this quilt and who knows...one day I may even make the quilt, I will
let you know if I do! |
Carolyn McCready This is Flying Geese
8 block from the block libraries. I did this to try the scrappy look
and thought the effect was great and one I will try. |

me to use lots of fall colors for this quilt top. |
