VISIT JUDY BUTCHER'S BLOG FOR INSPIRATION
We've been enjoying Judy Butcher's blog, checking back frequently to see her new EQ quilt of the day.
Judy devised her own EQ Dozen challenge with some "What if?" ideas:

  1. What if I select a dozen blocks, sort of at random, from the Electric Quilt block library – pieced and appliqué.
  2. What if I am only allowed to alter just one of those blocks, and I decide this after I have designed a border corner from one of the blocks.
  3. What if I limit myself to the same borders, and just a couple of fabric changes.
  4. And what if I limit myself to just a straight layout, either 5 x 5 blocks, or 7 x 7 blocks.

Challenge yourself? See Judy's EQ Dozen challenge then view the impressive results, which may inspire a challenge of your own. (Note: You can view Judy's quilts as a slide show).

Imagine getting 50 to 100 quilts for just submitting one. March's challenge is almost over - submit your "Wildwood Fabric" quilt now.

Barb's next challenge will be "Speak your Piece." Design a quilt that expresses your feelings about an issue that is important to you. Barb says "My whole idea is that quilters often express their social or political statements with quilts. This challenge offers an opportunity to do that."
