KAREN COMBS INTERVIEW & FREE PROJECT
Author Karen Combs is a long-time EQer, known for her many books and beautiful
3-D illusion quilts. Read our interview with Karen, where she'll tell you how she used EQ to create great Celtic quilts with a few simple blocks. Then download her free EQ6 project and try out her ideas. This project is just a taste of the design ideas from her new book, Celtic Pieced Illusions — perfect for trying out in EQ6.

FABRIC POSTCARDS
Our own Sarah Kollar wrote an article on making fabric postcards. It's reprinted here with permission from Creative Techniques magazine.

FREE ANGIE PADILLA PROJECT
Angie Padilla has a beautiful free "Playing Dressup" project for EQ6 users. A perfect spring quilt for daughters or granddaughters! (Soon you can learn EQ6 drawing directly from expert Angie. Her EQ6 Appliqué Drawing book comes out this spring --- the companion book to Patti Anderson's EQ6 Pieced Drawing book. We recommend both books if you want to design your own blocks, or modify those in EQ6.)

Learn to use EQ5 or EQ6 as you solve the mystery and see your final quilt after the 12th episode.
