Electric Quilt 5 Frequently Asked Questions
What is EQ5 Show?
EQ5 Show is a free download for registered users of EQ5. It works like a screen saver or a slide show. It is a free quilt viewer that cycles through all quilt projects in a folder you select, and shows you the quilts in those projects. It is a great way to view quilts you have made, view projects from the ClubEQ challenge, or run a demo of possible quilts on your computers screen without you having to be at the computer.
Where do I get EQ5 Show?
Go to "Register Online" at the bottom of this page. Fill in your contact information and choose EQ5 in the product list. Enter your EQ5 serial number from the back cover of the orange Getting Started book.
Once you have submitted your EQ5 serial number, you will receive a link to where you can download EQ5 Show.
How do I use the EQ5 Show directory tab?

Click Browse to navigate to the location of the project files you want to view.
How do I use the EQ5 Show select projects tab?

This tab will list all the projects with quilts in the specified directory. If there are no quilts in the project, then the project won't be listed.
How do I use the EQ5 Show transitions tab?

You may set the length of time to show each quilt for anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds. There are five different speeds of transition, from slow to fast.
How do I use the EQ5 Show options tab?

Check the project types you want to display in the slide show.
How do I use the toolbar that appears when EQ5 Show is running?

The third button from the left is a Pause button. This button pauses the slide show and enables the Previous Quilt/Next Quilt buttons. Clicking this button a second time will restart the slide show.
The Previous Quilt (first button on the left) and Next Quilt (second button from the left) are used to step through the quilts one at a time after the Pause button has been clicked.
The button on the right is a Stop button. This button stops the slide show and returns to the EQ5 Show dialog.
