Electric Quilt 5 Frequently Asked Questions

 

How do you use the video? It comes up on the screen "Where am I?" then nothing.
Please look at the buttons at the bottom of the video screen. You'll see a Play button and a Select a Video button.

Click the Play button if you want to play the current video "Where am I?." Click the Select a Video button if you want to select another video. A list will appear. Click on a name in the list. This will start that video.

Why don't my videos play?
Perhaps your Windows Media Player is not working. Here's how to see if you can play the videos with Windows Media Player:

1. Click Start – Programs – Accessories – Entertainment – Windows Media Player.
2. Click File > Open > C > Program files > Electric Quilt Company> EQ5> Res.
3. Try playing any of the files that end in .avi.

If you continue to have difficulties, you may also need to install the latest version of the Windows Media Player which is available free over the internet. www.microsoft.com/downloads/

I get sound, but no picture. What should I do?
There are three options which could solve your problem.

Option 1:
Start the video. Immediately click Pause. Click Play.

Option 2:
Try clicking Start - Settings - Control Panel - Display - Settings tab, and change your color settings from 16 high color to 24 high color.

Option 3:
Grab the video window by the title bar (blue bar across the top) and wiggle it.
