Can I open the Town & Country Projects in EQ5?
If you have Electric Quilt 5 software on your computer, you can open any of the Town & Country Patchwork projects and use the features of EQ5 to re-design the quilts.
The project files are found inside the Town & Country folder. The default location for the files is C: Program Files\Electric Quilt Company\Town and Country Patchwork\PJ5\.
The projects are divided into four folders as follows:

The file extension for the Town & Country projects is EQP. Since EQ5 does not recognize this file extension, you need to type the complete name including the period and the three-letter file extension.

After you have opened the project in EQ5, it will automatically rename the file giving it the PJ5 file extension.
Please note: The file will not be saved. It will only be renamed. You'll need to Save.

Navigate to the new folder where you want to save your project. You can keep the name for the quilt or give it a new name. Click Save.

I can't see all of the Notecard information in the notecard. Can I fix this?
If it looks like your notecard information gets cut off and you cannot read all of the words, we suggest simply going to the Print tab, and previewing the Quilt Info. All of your notecard information will be shown there, plus you can print it for later use.
I can't open the PDF manuals when I click on the images or the links on the Learn tab. What should I do?
If this situation occurs, you must open the Town & Country Getting Started Guide and/or the Town & Country Referece Manual from the Start menu.
Go to:
Start > Program Files > Electric Quilt > Town & Country Patchwork > then choose which PDF manual you would like to view.
