Reviews

"Patti has outdone herself with EQ5 Drawing. I plan to start at Lesson 1 and go straight through the book. I'm sure, even though I've been drawing for quite some time in EQ, there is much to learn. Her directions are very clear. This is an impressive job."

"I bought Patti's drawing book at the same time as I bought Dear Jane. I have gotten "lost" in it. So many wonderful techniques, some are refreshers, but many are things I have never tried before. It is very well written, like all of the other Electric Quilt books, a real "cookbook" of ideas. If you want to learn how to use the tools in EQ for creating the blocks we use in eq [Electric Quilt] and bb [BlockBase], the lessons in this book will teach you how. Probably would have gotten my taxes done sooner, if I had bought the book after the taxes were done. Thank you, Patti."

"I have learned so much from EQ5 Drawing: little tips, big how-to's... and on and on. The book is VERY well written. Some of the things I have learned: real skills with the bezier tool; automatic use of magnification and saving to know exactly where the nodes are BEFORE going on to more complicated things; how to use the grid tool!; control+A instead of having to go to Edit; tracing an imported BMP accurately... a real victory for me; drawing a smiley face...great!!!; selecting a section of a block for copy/paste or export snapshot. I could go on and on."

"I have the Drawing book and love it! Patti does such a wonderful job in explaining things very clearly. I leafed thru it before I bought it because I'm such a hands-on learner. I've had no trouble understanding the directions at all. I don't think you'll be disappointed with it."
