For fabric I choose a pared down set of the Hand-Dyes Fabric Pallette that is on the EQ website. I think "Dark and Mysterious" when I look at this block. Maybe even 'spooky'. Center: Tara |
Center: Alison I'm working on a quilt for a wedding gift for my niece. She loves sunflowers so I thought I would see what other people could come up with. - Alison |
Center: Becky I liked your colours that you picked, i played with quite a few ideas to add to your block, but i really liked how this block gave it a star effect......hope you like it - Patricia |
Center: Trish This centre block was created using wreathmaker. My favourite colours are lavender/purples and these flowers were just perfect colours for me............... Patricia Knight |

My center is the Nebraska Tulip block that I rotated around four times. While playing with the fabrics in the block, this feminine country look is what emerged. It's not my normal style, but I like it! Center: Deirdre Hallett |

I couldn't decide on just one square for the centre so this is 4x4 of a block that I am using for a very large quilt for a King Size bed. I like this layout because it looks like the centre square overlaps the other 4. Center: Brenda |
The center is done in batiks from the palate library. I think of the sunrise over the water with kites flying in the sky Center: Elaine |

Fabrics: EQ pallette "Leaves" Center: Jeannie |
My theme is winter so I drew a snowflake using the wreath maker. I chose several of my favourite palettes and used cold colours from them to colour the snowflake. Then I set the snowflake on layer 2 and a plain block on layer 1 Center: Jean J |
I picked this block because of the 3 new friends that I have made with this swap. I am really excited to see how this turns out after you each have had a chance to play with it. Center: Sheryl |

Footprints on the Beach My first attempt in applique design, LOL. I think the sand dollars in the center didn't turn out too bad and the mussles look a bit like mussles. I know the feet are kinda chunky but who said the Round Robin can't have a cartoon kinda style? Center: Andrea |
Idyllic day at sea I had fun making this one, I practiced copying and pasting pieces of other blocks and added them to this one. I have always loved the fish that were very colorful and so made sure mine were too. Have fun working on my center. Center: Joany |
I choose 10 colors for this quilt. Have fun & do whatever looks good to you!!! And please leave note. Center: Teresa |
I started out with the circle star with wanting to place a mermaid in the center. It didn't work out. This block reminds me of the starry nights out on my dad's fishing boat with the points set like a compass. My daughter thinks the yellow is like the sun. Center: Tracey |

Stars and Koalas I love what everyone has done with this quilt. The leaves for the koala's to eat is a lovely touch. I've finished this off with a thin border in green to compliment all the purple. Purple and green my fav colours. Center: Brenda |
I decided to go with a complicated pieced block for my center this time. Feel free to add fabrics if you wish. I would like to keep it "dark" though. Center: Tara |
I originally wanted to draw just a cute little tulip ... but I though
it looked a little lonely. Center: Diana |

Second border put on by Gayle. Reminiscent of wild geese flying over head the Olympic Peninsula. Center: Renee |
When I got the Block I thought it was seeming to look to dark.. I add a double diamond drop border and used the lighter fabrics... Center: Gayle |
