I felt like I wanted to change the coloring in the center to the more vibrant colors in the outer border. So In the process I changed a few more colors to the original design and eliminated others. I also added a final border to the project. I love it and thank all those who helped to make this great!

Fire

I like the colours yellow, orange very well. The background is black besause they predominate on it sensationel. Usually I work in cm, but there is in inch. I think it's all the same. Have a good luck with it! -Zsuzsa, Hungary

Impossible cubes

I took the cube block from a Bruno Ernst's book called "the Adventure of impossible shapes." I really like this kind of design. I am pretty impressed with the results that they made. I added 3 plain borders to finish this great quilt!
Cheers from France!

Away in A Manager

I traced the design for this. It is my first time doing this so I hope it works out okay. It is suppose to be done using applique.

Peace on Earth

The center was traced from a picture in a magazine of a collectible plate. I cut it out many years ago and saved it because I knew someday I'd want to do something with it. It makes me want to use ornate/exotic fabrics in order to capture the richness of the kings robes. I began tracing it right after I got EQ5 and had many error messages until I understood how to use the program. It was a great learning exercise. The borders complement and enhance the center. I like the gracefulness of the holly border contrasting with the solid geometric designs in borders 1 and 3.
When I make this, I think I would need to modify the proportions, because the center is too small, with too many tiny pieces!
