January 2010 Challenge: Calendar quilts! (Page 2)

EQ user Bev Adcock suggested this challenge to design a calendar with a quilt design that could be used as wallpaper in a quilter’s computer. There have been calendars offered on EQ users web sites. Now it’s time to create one of your own. Choose your birthday month or another month in 2010 and submit a calendar quilt for the challenge.

I thought it would be fun to design a different cake each month, because it is always someone's birthday. I used the Birthday Cake block from the libraries. What could be a better example of our freedom than this fly-by of our Starue of Liberty! Haymarket, Va	Toronto, Ontario, Canada I chose September, since that's when my birthday is. During September, the maple leaves start to change color, from green to red, orange or gold, making fall in Ontario a beautiful season.
