I chose an hour glass block alternating with a simple four patch for this quilt. These fabrics are bright and beautiful and work well in a simple block that showcases the fabric design.

I will definitely make this quilt for my daughter's bed.

LaCygne, Kansas

These colors go beautifully with my daughter's room. I wanted a fun, wild quilt for her to make that would be easy enough for a beginning quilter. She loves the design and can't wait to get the fabrics to make her first quilt!

Great kid's quilts
#36:  I loved the comments on this one...I remember making my first quilt and hope her daughter has fun!

using the snail trail block and just playing with these wonderfull spring colors was fun. this my first EQ club project that I finished in time to enter.

Delta, CO

I like the perspective of the center being in the distance. I would like to make this quilt!

My son said it reminded him of those very ornate stained glass windows (minus the lead lines unless you count the seam lines). He would put it in a church nursery with the bright colors.

Calimesa, CA

I got lazy and used a library layout (stars) as a base for this design. I've never had the luxury of picking from a collection and would have to make this from scraps.

Great twist on a classic design:
#40:  I thought this was a beautiful quilt with the edges of the star looking like a mosaic

Blocks from EQ6 Library. These fabrics are so light and airy looking that they inspired this spinning, windy looking quilt.

So Summery:
#42: Pinwheels are so summery

Great color combination:
#44: The way the colors radiate out from the center is really beautiful.

Wild Spring Garden

Using the vertical strip quilt layout allowed me to highlight this floral which is had t see in a small block. The drunken path "I wish you well" block in the darker pink kept the soft effect and gave some contrast.

I used the plaited block variation with plain blocks in this wall quilt.. All of the fabrics are from the Wildwood collection - some appear to be plain in these blocks.

Designed using EQ6's One Patch Cobblestone layout with lots of borders. This design reminds me of an arial view of an ordhard in bloom with rows of plantings around it.

Chelsea, Michigan

Designed using EQ6's Vertical Strip Quilt pattern. I was dreaming of seeing a spring garden in full bloom, since we're just starting to come out of a long winter.

Loved the borders on:
#47:  The grassy green rows of borders look like the edging of a garden

This would look great in my house:
#48:  I have a lot of really simple block quilts in my house and think these are both beautiful!

The prints have an airy spring feel. Not my usual color & print style choices, but fun to play with.

Beautiful Applique:
#50:  I love the multiple appliques around the center

I love the D9P. I used the 4 polka dot fabrics from the WIldwood collection to make the Nine Patch blocks. Then cut the nine patch blocks apart and put them back together with a polka dot patch in each block. The patchy border allows for more showcaseing of the Wildwood fabrics.

Friendship Links is an interesting interlocking design. The block dates from the 1930s.

I like the interesting look of the half square triangles as a partial border. The 4 patch squares and long pink rectangles add interest to this quilt

I found working with such large prints a 'challenge'! I normally use simpler fabrics, but this was fun to see what would happen working with a collection of fabrics like this.

Lincoln, NE

Erin McMorris's fabric line "Wildwood Collection" is ideal for totes, as well as quilts!

Houston, Texas, USA

This is just a simple, modern log cabin.

I took some liberty here and used a charcoal and ivory solid. I traced one of Erin's fun flowers to make a quilting stencil that is used 4 times as thread in the quilt.

Really interesting quilt layout:
#61:  I was surprised at the comments she made about usually using simpler smaller prints...I think she should always use large prints now because this quilt is beautiful and interesting.

This would look great in my house:
#63:  I have a lot of really simple block quilts in my house and think these are both beautiful!
