My first variation of combining block 2876 from Block Base and a modified Shofly
block. I added hearts for february. I like how this blockcombination makes circular
spaces to fill.with appliqué for example.

This is the same blockcombination, block 2876 from Block Base and the modified Shofly
block. This one has quilting in the circular spot.

I created a quilt from the "album quilt" block. I filled this quilt with
the "Rail fence" block and draw a new one for the border.
It was a fun and interesting challenge

I used the block "jewel" from the library and use the tool serendipity
to frame this block. I put then a stencil from the library on it.

Layout created from the High Flying Squares block, which is also placed in the centre.

This was designed using the "create quilt from block" feature. The block
used was "Random Stripes 2" and the resulting grid was then set with Ohio

This was designed by merging blocks with Serendipity. The blocks used were Uneven
Nine Patch with Flower Petals set in the centre square. The quilt uses the Flower
Petals block in its original format in alternate blocks to prevent the quilt from
becoming too busy. Double Four Patch blocks set in the outer triangles of the on-point
setting provide a secondary design around the edge of the quilt.

I called this quilt serendipity, because when I came back to it after several days,
I couldn'e remeber exactly why I decided on this design. I started with the blocks
from last months challenge and went frim there!

I used the Four Patch Art Square block as my quilt layout and filled it with a Friendship
Star, a King's Crown and a New Album block. I sized the blocks on the graph pad as
well as rotating the four block to be on point. I like this design better than the
first one.

Designed for the EQ Club. I experimented with the merge block. I figured if merging
was good then framing must be better, so I tried it out. Framing was better, but
what about tilting. Tilting was great!
My first impression when I put these blocks in the baby block layout was that of
'Oh no, my blocks are falling apart'. Quilt names can come from the silliest of things.

The quilt layout is based on the 5-Grid Chain block from the block library (using
the 'make quilt from block' option).
The other block used is the Road to California. The centre block was drawn to look
like two intersecting Road to California blocks.
The iris motif also comes from the block library

Quilt built on "Irregular Grid #11".
Includes "Plaid Lattice" and "Sunbeam Variation" blocks.
Used the EQ6 merge feature to place the "Sunbeam Variation" block into
the center of the "Large Center Log Cabin" block. Used a Stripe border
from the Set Auto Borders collection.
