On-Point Quilt

This is the horizontal version of a quilt I created by combining the Dogtooth Violet block (from the EQ block library) with one I call 'Off Center Fox and Geese x 4' which I created myself.

Block Blockbase 1996 set square

Loved playing with the vibrant Australian Aboriginal style colours and patterns! thanks for the free palette.
The block reminded me of Aboriginal clapping sticks, now quiet, lined up on the ground before the corroborree / celebration. Red, Black and yellow are the Aboriginal colours.

Block Blockbase 1996, on point and some rotated, and to vary it a little, Blockbase 4114 Attic window in the corners of the border

Loved playing with the vibrant colours and patterns! thanks for the free palette. Red, yellow and black are the Australian Aboriginal colours.
The block reminded me of Aboriginal clapping sticks and the curves are like the Waygul's tracks (Dreamtime Rainbow Serpent.)
