Dorothy M. Richey Using Special Effects layout from library Atlanta, Georgia |
Dorothy M. Richey Vines at the Window, Schoolgirl's Puzzle, Corner 4b and Sixteen Patch blocks are set into the Stars 43 layout from the layout library. I think the colors and shapes used give this quilt a Southwestern feel, hence the name Navaho Star. Atlanta, Georgia |
Ginny C. Created on the flight from London to Houston. Ten hours with many crying babies. |

S. Archer Scrappy Stripper
blocks placed, colored and rotated so as to form main radiating stars
pattern, World Without End Variation blocks placed in corners and on
point between main stars. Quilting stencil added with yellow/gold thread.
|
S. Archer Started with Baby
Block Quilt layout. Using 2 main block patterns, placed Log Cabin blocks
rotating them so that a star pattern emerged, then surrounded the star
with coordinating World Without End Variation blocks. |
Sheryl Till Designed for the EQ December 2004 challenge. I'm drawn to blue and yellow quilts...funny thing...I don't even own one. I just draw them. The ArrowHead Star block pattern is my own. You will need 4 for each complete block. I wanted to color
the stencil areas but for some reason, I couldn't get the program to
do it. |
Sheryl Till This is an alternate design using just one block in 2 different sizes. I wanted to color
the stencil areas but I couldn't get the program to do it. |

Terry DeVine Looks like chicken scratches to me! First step in attempt
to do the 'cardistar (card trick in a kalideoscope)' block in my mind.
Part of my save problems were saving sides of some pieces putting a
line over a line but final block took many steps to get all lines in
and really looks poinsettia like. |
Terry DeVine Another step to block called cardistar. |
