Starry Nights

I selected several "star" blocks from EQ5 and modified one to make a smaller star, then created a 1/4 star block to make the larger star.
Seemed appropriate for the season with the cold, clear nights this month.

Stars Challenge

I'm taking a class in February 2005 from Blanche Young called Dresden Stars. It combines Dresden Plate blocks with a Lone Star block and makes a gorgeous quilt. While playing with fabric choices and block designs for that quilt, I decided to see what other arrangements I could come up with. This is one of my favorites.
