Leigh Harris
Flower in a Flower

I don't know what it would be like to actually make, but it looks good on paper!

Concentric Circles

I've never seen this block before, but concede that it could be out there somewhere as it's such a simple idea. Maybe it's not so simple to sew...

From Ouch to Aahh a.k.a. Dr. Solomon's Maze

When I learned Drunkard's Path blocks were sometimes called Solomon's Puzzle. I had to make this wallhanging to show the way from pain to sunny days thanks to Dr. Solomon.

Grounded

The rotate tool did not give the effect I wanted, I discovered the flip tool.
EQ5, so many features, so little time.

Weavings

This block can be done with random curve cutting of strips. I like the flow of the curves in this effect of weavings.

Marti Anderson
Box of Marbles

This is an original design I would use for curved seam practice. The marbles could also be appliqued onto the half square triangles. The black and white thin strips tie it all together.

Gymnasts

I have been trying to stretch my design ideas by using many-pieces blocks done in monochomatic colors to use as backgrounds.
I just rotated every other block and colored the strips so foreground and background alternate. Another coloring could result in pinwheels.

Framed Flowers

I used the symmetry tool and came up with a design that I thought looked good with an applique.

Jane Turgeon
Curved Mosaic Tile

Inspired by Kathleen Bisset's Mosaic Tile but with curved grouting. Kathryn's straight line assembly is very clever, using 12 fabrics without repeating the same fabric in the same place on any block. These curved pieces would not be as easy to assemble.

Sheila's Ribbon Quilt

These curves look like ribbon to me and spring time. Great secondary pattern. Make sure you use the symmetry tool for even cooler layouts.

Under The Sea

I took the foundation pieced block that I created for my Spinning Wheels quilt and added more triangles to the curved strips and came up with Under The Sea.
