Carol Seubert
Snake in the Garden

One of the symmetry layouts reminded me of a snake, so I put him in the flower garden and surrounded him with a double diamond fence to keep him in.

Dancing Daisies

I drew the blocks in Easy Draw and then set them and used the symmetry tool until I found a pattern I liked. It reminded me of daisies and leaves.

Carolyn Laukkonen
Swirled Star

I loved the way this block swirls when put into 8 diamond shapes - like a swirled star, or flower petals.

Seaside Sunrise

I started with the Baton Rouge block in the EQ5 library and added some curves. The colors I used in the quilt remind me of an ocean sunrise.

Spinners

This is the newest thing I have done in EQ5. I have not experimented with drawing with curves. I guess I was too chicken which is silly because it's so easy. I used the curve tool and draw a few curves in patchdraw and violia! I also used the symmetry tool and clicked until I found a setting that I liked. I can't believe how easy it was. I definately will be using t this in drawing up future quilts. Thanks Simonetta for the new challenge.

I just love the interlocking rings. This would take a lot of guts to try and make!

Just a cute little block, inspired from a ceramic wall tile that hangs in my FIL's house.

Carried Away

What fun I had "painting" my BCG curves block with fabric for this month's challenge.

Bertha Hawley,
Swimming Up Stream

These two quilts were made from the same block. Just colored differently and rotated. They look best with no patch or block outlines.

Curve Fan

A poor attenpt to make a contemporary curve quilt. I do better with triangles and squares, but had fun anyway.

I saw this design in a hospital logo and thought it would make a pretty applique pattern.
