Blue Ridge Mountains My attempt to show the area I live in, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. After I put the block in a Custom Set, I overlaid it with motif from the block library and one I drew myself. marygiles@juno.com Forest VA |

Rory Kirby The block design, Tumbling Waves, suggests high waves and spray. Two extra pieces were added to reduce the area of the first block. Drying clothes the old fashined
way! jroryk@pacificcoast.net Victoria, BC, Canada |
Delft Blue Garlands Controlled motion, Dutch windmills, linked with blue circles, heightened by the green hydrangea centres. This quilt used the first curve design, Leaping Waves. jroryk@pacificcoast.net Victoria, BC, Canada

Vonnie Smith This is my first Club EQ challenge. It was a lot of fun. This bright quilt is my original design. Rotating the block makes a lot of difference!! I am a beginner on EQ5. This was good practice. ribbetribbet@msn.com Wheatland, Ca. |

Judy Best I placed the colours in each block so that the 2 opposite petals on each block were the same and when placed in the quilt and rotated "flowers" were created where the corners met. Depending on how the petals are coloured the secondary pattern changes. juditha.best@sympatico.ca London, Ontario |
