Club EQ Album: November 2002 Challenge: Superimpose Blocks! Page 3

"Explore the EQ Block Library and find two blocks that can be superimposed to create an entirely new block. This can be a really fun thing to do and something you might not think to do without the computer to help you! Start by looking at blocks with similar grids. You can explore further by getting bold about what you combine.

The superimposing or overlaying of one block design over another can be done in the Edit mode from the Sketchbook. Save two blocks into the project Sketchbook. Edit one and select all the lines. Copy. Then Paste those lines over another block drawing that you have selected to Edit from the Sketchbook. Carefully center one over the other and look for design elements to highlight with color."

Center star

By overlaying The Palm on Attic Window and rotating the blocks, I was able to get a bright splash of color with a star at the center. I accented the star by using the big and little points out border and placing EQ Star 4 in the center points. - enid_newberg@hotmail.com
