I Wish You Well

Tablerunner layout with three blocks on point for applique blocks. Setting block, which is called "I Wish You Well" is used in the setting triangles. The curved ends are motifs that are overlaid where a border has been deleted at the top and bottom.

Beauty from Provence

The table runner layout with three blocks on point was used for the basic setting. A triangle motif for the ends was set in Layer 2 over the area of a border that was deleted in order for the motif to exist without a block outline. Then a block on point was positioned over that.

Sea Star I

EQ's Stars and Beams block. Not sure if in 'real life' I'd want to have to bind all these little triangles hanging off the edge of the table runner, but I like the look visually.

Audition for an
O. Henry story

I finally found a flaw in EQ5: it wouldn't allow me to cut my plaid on the bias. It gave me plenty of leeway in making new colorways, though.

I'm not quite sure how I started in the Layout Library and wound up in Custom Set, but it was an interesting journey.

Autumn Harvest Tablerunner

This one was truly a challenge for me. I have been canning tomatoes and have had little EQ time. First frost sounds good!

Fall Leaves

I really liked the leaf motifs in EQ's library, so I wanted to use them in my table runner. I had seen a similar background with a flower appliqued on top and like the setting, so I tried it with the leaves instead.

Cutwork Leaves

This reminds me of the cutwork tablecloths my mother had which were made of ecru and beige fabrics with the cutwork designs in the centre and around the edge.

Tom Turkey

Inspired by a Table Runner I saw in a magazine, but this one is quite different. Do the turkey all in fusibles and satin stitch around.

Universe of Music

I have never seen this book, only its publicity. Something like that I have made as a 50 birthday present for my DH: it is a keyboard cover with many small instruments on all four sides, each instrument in various black frames. All real fabrics have music motifs. Quilt stencil is a staff with G-clef and "planet" notes.
