Season Row Quilt Nancy - Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at rwlnkl@kellnet.com I wanted to try a row quilt depicting the four seasons by using a few of my "favorite" things, from robins to snowmen. Then I arranged the blocks in seasonal colors, rotating some of them, and using various sizes for the sashings and borders. The hardest part was placing and correctly sizing the letters on the 2nd layer. It was a fun project for a newbie to try! And now to try and make it!!!!!

12mstpj4 I recently took a machine quilting class with Diane Gaudynski and so I took the opportunity to use the Dec. challenge to work on my layer 3 skills. I chose a traditional Amish Style Bar quilt and added the quilting. I used designs from the EQ library and made them fit. This for me was the challenge. I haven't don'e that much with layer three. I would like to have drawn a feathered cable for the border but this is beyond my current skill.

Santa and the Woods by pines on 12/12/00 This row by row was inspired by the holiday season. After all what are the holidays without the gift of sharing and a decorated tree to make the spirits glow.

Emily Goes To School December Club EQ Challenge I hope to make this for my niece Emily's birthday next year. Most of these blocks came from the EQ libraries. I drew the school bus, pencil, and crayon. I found the scissors in My Library, but I don't remember where I got them from originally. December in Australia December Club EQ - Row by Row by Wendy Z - Adelaide, South Australia Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at Here in OZ we spend Christmas Day at the beach - but surround ourselves with winter Christmas icons even though it is Summer here. We even have fake snow to spray on our windows and christmas trees - Ever try to cook a roast turkey when the temperature is over 100 - thats why it is a BBQ on the Beach for us on Christmas Day.
