Christmas Row Quilt This quilt started with an On-point quilt layout of one horizontal strip and the Santa blocks. Borders of the Rectangular Blocks style were added around that. The Santa blocks are the only blocks not from the EQ Library.
Holly Baskets This quilt started with an On-point quilt layout of one vertical strip. Rectangular Blocks and Diamond styles of borders were added to the sides. The Holly Basket is an Overlaid block composed of a basket block and holly appliqués from the EQ Library.

Christmas Sampler Eileen I made the Della Robia and the Holly and the Berry wreaths using the Wreathmaker tool and I changed the applique snowman slightly The bow was made with the Simple Shape tools following the directions on pg. 146 of the Cookbook, except instead of using the circle to make the openings in the bow I used the oval and changed the tails. I thought it made a prettier bow. Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at ekallen@snet.net Old Saybrook, CT
Peppermint Ponies Designed by Judy Sogn for EQ Challenge Dec. 2000 I used a country set to allow for dropping the blocks one-half block in each row to get a streak of lightning set.
Colleen , Adelaide A very simple quilt, as I want to make it using signature blocks from family and friends, and ninepatch blocks from an internet swap.

Red Riding Hood's Strip cpyr. 2000 CBurga Carolyn Mandeville LA USA I've had requests for EASY patterns so here it is! This original design makes fussy cut use of Kaffe Fassett's gorgeous fabrics for a knock-out design. But it is beginner level---only four fabrics and NO blocks to set or points to match. Designed for this challenge, the actual pattern will be on my site after Jan.1. Come visit www.myfabrications.com
Partridge in a Folk Art Tree December 2000 clubEQ challenge Row Quilt The use of different borders makes the tree adaptable from paper-piecing to applique. My first one is mostly applique and I got a lot of practise using the graph pad feature to place the appliques. Folk Art Nativity Tree December 2000 clubEQ challenge Row Quilt -- The second is paper-pieced (with a few appliques) using the Christmas and Noah's Ark blocks from Sew Precise!). However, if someone wanted to make a folk art tree that was not Christmas or religious, other items could be "hung" on the tree, such as fruits, animals, or seasonal themed items for Halloween, Spring or Easter - Charlotte Winnipeg, MB Canada Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at hkleiner@attcanada.ca

12 Laura December 2000 EQ Challenge This is my first EQ challenge quilt. It was a challenge learning how to align the letter blocks in layer 3 and an even bigger one figuring out how to get them evenly spaced left to right. With the expertise of my adorable hubby the problem was resolved. Laura in Houston Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at odurpt@pdq.net

Bright Morning With this quilt I decided to use baskets (I usually avoid baskets, for some reason) and a bright cheery pallette. Meredith Ask for December 2000 Challenge project file at(mcthomps@fnfi.com) Austin, Texas USA - 12/14/2000
Angels We Have Heard on High EQ Challenge December 2000 The angels are singing, the stars are shinning, and the roses are in full bloom. All blocks are from EQ4 and Sew Precse 1 & 2 Rows of angels and Stars intersected by rows of roses. Stars also grace the boarders with gifts for the Christ child in the corners. I am very new to this so I hope this meets the criteria for the challenge. I plan to make this quilt next year for one of my children.
